Orchestra Work & Chamber Music – innovative & international
The EUphony Orchestra is not just one of the many training orchestras made to rehearse and perform pieces. In addition to bringing together young musicians of different cultural backgrounds, for the last several years the orchestra’s projects have been explicitly aimed at finding and developing forward-looking, exemplary, and career-oriented approaches to orchestral education, in order to prepare students in the best hands-on way possible for the professional life awaiting them.
The EUphony Orchestra Project 2020 offers:

Concerts
Following the Orchestra Workshop from 19-25 February 2020, there will be both chamber music and orchestra concerts in Linz, Graz and Belgrade between 26th and 29th of February 2020.

A cooperative project between University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria), University of Zagreb (Croatia), University of Arts Belgrade (Serbia), Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music Budapest (Hungary), Orchesterzentrum|NRW (Germany), Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz (Austria), Academy of Music at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Music Cluj (Rumania) and Academy of Music in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Who can register?
String players of all partner institutions, wind players of the Anton Bruckner Private University Upper Austria, University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, Belgrade University of Music and Orchesterzentrum Dortmund.
In case you are interested in participating in the EUphony Project 2020, please get in touch with the respective institution before filling in the form.
String players are requested to submit a video with a piece of their choice. Winds are nominated by their respective university. A video is not needed.
Registration Deadline
Application open until October 31st 2019
Arrangements
If selected, there is no fee for participating in the workshop. All expenses during the rehearsal period in Seggau & Graz (accommodation, lunch and dinner) will be provided, as well as travel and subsistence costs during the European tour. Participants (or their university) are responsible for organizing their own travels to and from Graz.
